This agapanthus is an evergreen, clump-forming perennial with strap-shaped mid-green leaves. In midsummer, dark, sturdy stems produce panicles of trumpet-shaped, pale blue-lilac flowers, with a darker mid rib stripe down the centre of each petal. The flowers will darken a bit with age.

The flower heads are larger than other hardy varieties and can last for about 60 days. A moist and organic soil is optimal.
