This is not your grandmother’s bleeding heart! This one is truly worthy of the Proven Winners name! 'Pink Diamonds' is an “alpine” bleeding heart (closely related to my favorite ‘Fire Island’) so it likes NEITHER shade nor moist soil. It does, however, explode with flowers in late spring to early summer and blooms throughout the season. Pink flowers open light pink and show a two-tone effect. P.D. makes medium sized clumps of finely dissected, blue-green fern-like foliage.

Again, this is not a shade plant. For best results, plant in full sun in soil with good drainage. Do not overwater or plant in an area that gets waterlogged.
