This uniquely designed short and compact dual cake bird suet feeder is made of untreated Douglas Fir (top) and Pine and is intended to best fit into your suburban garden environment. Select among various colors of water-based deck stain to blend or contrast with your environment.

The top, which is turned on a wood lathe, helps protect the suet cakes from driving rain and makes access difficult for some less desirable animals.

The suet cages are easy to access and fill from the side and hold any standard size suet cakes available online or from many retailers. Depending on the time of year, you may consider filling one side with suet and the second with nesting material such as dog fur that otherwise fills your garbage bags in the spring.

This feeder comes with with a 10" chain and two hooks. The top's eye-screw makes it easy to hook your feeder wherever you can best observe your garden wildlife.
