This species makes a wonderful groundcover and can tolerate some abuse! Intense is special because of its bright pink flowers in early summer which are more vivid than other variety. It is a prolific flowerer and is highly attractive to bees and other pollinators. The green, fragrant foliage turns to red in the fall. This is a workhorse plant!
