Iris siberica "Charming Billy"
Iris siberica "Charming Billy"
If you love “How Audacious” you are going to love this one too. Very similar in coloring, Billy’s styles are a lovely contrasting lavender blue, the standards are a violet pink and the falls are a darker purple with the same yellow signal. Exquisitely lovey!! “Charming ‘Billy” makes the same large clumps of tall strong sword shaped leaves that look good all summer and are resistant to deer. But these flowers are large with wide falls shading from red-violet to deep violet, splashed with bright yellow, highlighted with white and completed by an oh so delicate wire edge along the slight ruffling. Those slender stems carry 2-5 flowers each to extend the bloom. Impossible not to admire them.
30 inches tall and will spread 2 - 3 feet
Siberians thrive in wet areas but do well in average soil .. full sun to part shade. Too much shade will affect flowering.
Please note that we also make vases and stainless steel hand tools - these are available in our “Home and Garden” section
